I merged a movie table with about 900,000 ratings, drew the share of each rating value and listed the ten films with the most ten-out-of-ten ratings.
Original tutorial by Aman Kharwal: Movie Rating Analysis for Beginners (opens in a new tab)
| Output | Value | Cell # |
|---|---|---|
| Ten-star ratings for the most-loved title | 1,479 | |
| Most ten-star ratings | Joker (2019) |
Cell # counts every cell from the top of the notebook, Markdown included, starting at 1.
Counting ten-star ratings rewards films that were simply rated the most often.
The bundled movies.dat, ratings.dat and users.dat. The 0 to 10 scale and films from 2019 show this is MovieTweetings, ratings collected from tweets, not MovieLens.
users.dat maps rating IDs to Twitter account IDs. The files stay in the private repository and nothing from them is shown except the top title count.
