I downloaded two years of Apple prices and drew five interactive charts: a line, a candlestick, a bar chart, a zoomed date range and a candlestick with range buttons.

Daily AAPL prices from Yahoo Finance through yfinance.

What I'd do differently

  • Add daily returns and rolling volatility. The price level alone hides most of what is interesting.
  • Drop the bar chart of prices, which makes small moves look flat.
